A day in the life of John John

Now that Claire bear is gone at Kindergarten all day, Mr. John and I have had to figure out what we were going to do with ourselves. We have done a few planned activities, but mostly I just let the kid do what he wants and I follow him. Here's a peek into our new normal...

Here is John's first successful attempt at painting. I have tried painting with him before and it was UNsuccessful (paint everywhere, catastrophe, tears). Here he is so focused on his masterpiece that he can't be bothered to look up at the camera while he's saying "CHEESE!"

Here he's saying "oooooooh!," which is code for "this is going to be so messy! hooray!"

Here he is wearing his "bap pack" just like Sissy...

Here's a shot taken while we had to wait in the carpool lane (hallelujiah for the bus!). Thank goodness he is so good natured. We ended up singing "the wheels on the bus" about 300 times in that thirty minute time period. Not kidding.

Four words. Pants on the head!!!

Totally his idea. Hahaha.

What's an afternoon with a toddler without a little cake baking?!

Just waiting at the bus stop with our giant t-rex and tiny plastic basketball...

This is when he screams "SISSY BUS! MAMA, SISSY BUS!!!" And I say "I know!" Hahaha.

Just chilling on the couch. When Claire is home she usually sits in the corner so she can stretch out on the chaise. When the cat's away the little mouse will lounge.

Just doing some mopping, Mom.

And John's most favorite activity...running!!! And giggling!!!
p.s. Do you like my new rug?! So cute, right? I got it at for 50% off! Woo to the hoo!

Hope everyone is doing well!
